A True Love Story

I know me and Nick were mean't to be together. The first time we layed eyes on each other was when me and one of my friends, Megan had a wreck and went to the restaraunt that Megan's Mom and Nick owned. I walked in the door and saw Nick, I thought he was so cute but I've never really had any self confidence and didn't think that he would like me but as soon as me and Megan left the restaraunt her mom called her on her cell phone and said that Nick liked me and was asking about me. So Megan told him everything and that I liked him too. We went to Megan's house and later that day after her mom got home I asked her if she thought Nick would care if I got his number. She called him and said that he was phsyced that I wanted his number. That night after I got home I called him on his cell phone. He was out partying with his friends. He told me I was too young. I was so bummed. But a couple days later Megan came up to me and gave me a piece of paper Nick had given her. She said that he was drunk and didn't know what he was saying and that he told her I wasn't too young and gave me his number. As soon as he got off I called him. We never really knew what to say to each other except that we like each other. The first time we met he came up to my house and we rode fourwheelers. WHen he got ready to leave that night I gave him a hug and said that I really liked him and he said that he really liked me so I asked him what do you want to do? He told me to call him later. SO I gave him time to get home then I called him. He asked he if I wanted to go out sometime, I said yes (of course). And we totally hit it off. Everything about us just clicked. I thought it was kind of neat that he has a girls middle name and that I have a guys middle name. His middle name is Shannon and my middle name is Neil I thought that was kind of neat. My friends tell me that we were mean't to be together. The first time he said I love you, one night we were on the phone and he was acting weird. I asked him what was wrong and he said he had something to tell me but he was afraid it would make me mad. I begged him to tell me and finally he said,"Amanda I think I am in love with you!" I melted and started crying and told him I loved him too.

He calls me his angel because he says if it weren't for me he would probably be in jail or dead because he had a really bad drinking problem and drug problem. But after he met me he stopped all of that. And he has really made a difference in my life because I recently lost 100 pounds and hadn't gotten the self confidence back. He makes me feel like I am the most beautiful girl in the world and makes me feel so special.

We have been together 8 months. And talk about marriage all of the time. We talk about wanting to go Hawaii on our honeymoon and what all we want to do in Hawaii. We want to sit on the beaches or Maui and watch the sun come up over the ocean or watch the sun set. We have even talked about moving to Hawaii for a little while before we come back to Kentucky to start our family and settle down.

I know we're going to be together forever.
